Who would’ve thought that milk - one of the basic necessities in order for infants to survive in their early years is not widely accessible in every country. Unfortunately, this is the case in Yemen.
The outbreak of the war which is sadly still ongoing has caused the 29 million population in the country to go into famine. The most vulnerable - children have to suffer to the point that their own mothers are starving themselves so their children can eat.
As we sit here in our comfortable houses eating a minimum of three meals a day. How can we allow this to pass and not act upon it? How can we go to sleep knowing that this is happening! Imagine you as a mother and a father not being able to give your baby milk just for one day! How would that make you feel?
The children are becoming malnourished. Parents are having to watch their kids starve to death. We must try our best to help our brothers and sisters so they can gain access to their basic needs.
Here at Yemen Relief we are raising funds to provide infants with the milk they need so they can survive and thrive in life.
Please give whatever you can to make a difference for the people of Yemen.
Every little penny helps!
