Burdett Estate Masjid aims to provide for the young and
the old, serving the 800 plus diverse Muslim community in Burdett Estate
and our surrounding areas. With the grace of Almighty Allah (SWT), the Masjid hosts daily congregational prayers, Jummah
Salaah, Taraweeh and other major events in the Islamic Calendar.
Additionally we operate evening and weekend Madrasah's (School), including Hifz classes for the young and Tajweed, Tafseer and Fiqh for Adults. We also provide regular lectures in English and Bangla regarding Islam, Health and cultural with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing community cohesion.
Below is an approximate breakdown of the Masjid Yearly Maintenance costs which need to be managed:Rent: £5,200
Building/Lift/Gas Bill Other: £5,000
Heating and Water:£4,000
