Personal Challenge - Appealing for a charity
Allah (swt) describes the righteous in Paradise as being those who took care of orphans during their worldly life. ‘And they [the righteous] give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive…’ Al Insan: 8
i only wish this world was a fair, warm and welcoming place that offered the same stepping stool to every little human to reach the best of their potential in life but it's not. There is a bliss in the naivety and ignorance of the privileged, but this doesn't change the tough reality of hardship for children who are simply victims to their fate and devastating circumstance. Sudan experienced one of the worst conflicts this summer leaving thousands of children orphaned and alone, which to me is unfair and unjust.
There are still millions of vulnerable young people and orphans who we are still not in touch with to give the correct support, but for the ones who we've managed to identify in need of help, the only thing that decides whether they are given an equal opportunity that has painfully been taken away from them at no fault of their own, is the selfless donation from our own people who have, only by chance, been granted a better life.
The Quran tells us orphans have the right to be taken care of.
If you can, I am asking for you to help, with the purest intentions, support and change the lives of 40 children in Sudan over 5 years, providing food, basic nutrition, clothing, school uniforms, schoolbooks, enrolment, counselling and support through our Little Smiles campaign. any donation is valuable in helping to transform the lives of our future generation. your duas and donation could be the hope they needed to keep going.
barak Allahu feekum.
Who Will It Help?
