Our Story

Please give a gift today. We must buy a Mammogram Machine for a new Breast Cancer Unit in Nablus, West Bank.

We urgently need to raise £270,000 to purchase a life-saving mammogram machine. The machine is needed to help bring faster and better diagnoses and treatment to Palestinian women with breast cancer.

MAP are currently helping to equip the new breast cancer unit in Rafidia Hospital in the north of the West Bank. We are hoping that patients will soon be able to receive the necessary consultations, tests and treatments all in one place. The new unit will mean they no longer have to travel through checkpoints for multiple appointments and face the possibility of missing treatments due to delays.

We must ensure that the new unit opens and starts saving lives as soon as possible.

Women in the UK and Israel are twice as likely to survive breast cancer as women in Palestine. This health inequality is wrong! The thought of any women dying needlessly from a disease that, in many cases can be treated successfully, is deeply upsetting and unjust.

Please help MAP save the lives of Palestinian women by making a gift to our appeal today.

Thank you.
