Our Story

It is narrated from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that he said, “Winter is the best season for the believer. Its nights are long for him to pray in, and its days are short for him to fast in.”

It is also narrated from the eminent companion of the Prophet, Umar ibn al-Khattab radi Allahu anhu that he said, “Winter is the prize of the worshippers.”

As temperatures plummet across the world, Global One has already started helping communities at home and abroad. You can provide life-saving winter aid in the form of warm blankets, food packs, warm clothing, stoves for heat and cooking, and household essentials for vulnerable women and children.

This winter, women and children across the world will be facing the challenging cold season without the shelter of a proper home, the protection of warm clothes and blankets, or the sustenance of nutritious food. The Coronavirus pandemic has made the situation even worse, and without adequate protection, communities are at huge risk.

Global One has already started helping those less fortunate home and abroad, by supplying nutritious food packs, warming clothing and blankets, whilst also providing home basics like heating and mattresses for refugees and vulnerable communities. You can help us deliver more.

As winter draws near temperatures are beginning to plummet millions of displaced and refugee families across Jordan and Bangladesh are facing a tough season while tens of thousands affected economically by the pandemic right here in the UK will be sleeping rough on our city’s streets.

You can give life-saving winter aid by providing warm thermal blankets from as little as £10 or providing a family in need with enough nutritious food to last them a month for £50.
