Help us raise money for female refugees in Athens. This is so that they can enjoy a simple cup of sweet tea and a piece of fruit or a biscuit whilst they learn important language skills and build social confidence.
We all know that life is much harder when we're hungry, and that learning is next to impossible on an empty stomach. That's why at the Halcyon Days Womens' Education Centre it's so important to offer their 400 or so students a hot drink and some simple snacks each day. It just means the women are able to keep focus on their classes so much better, as well as making them feel welcome and comfortable in their space. Life is so difficult for refugee women already, this really is the least we can do.
