Personal Challenge - Trek
On the 20th March Al Isharah will be trekking to the Mount Ben Nevis, which is the highest mountain in the British Isles. Standing at 1,345 metres above sea level, it is at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands, close to the town of Fort William.
In 2019, I trekked at Wales (Snowdon) to raise for Al isharah especially for the BSL Qur’an project as that project is extremely close to my heart and something that I am very passionate about. And this year I’m doing it again at Ben Nevis (Scotland) insha’Allah.
Because the BSL Qur’an project has saved my life and made me close to Allah in a way that I never thought it would.
Imagine, not being able to hear the beauty of the Qur’an. Not able to read it. Imagine all those time before how would deaf people connect to Islam if they simply cannot pray because they don’t have access to it in their language. And now look, subhna’Allah, how many deaf people are now able to pray and understand the Qur’an because of this beautiful project.
Donate even as little as £1. Because that £1 would make a HUGE difference.
So let’s all of us come together and make the translation of the Qur’an in BSL comes to vision so the whole Muslim deaf community can feel the sense of belonging and the love of Islam.
Who Will It Help?
I hope through this fundraising page we can all make a huge difference to this cause.
Help me raise my target.
