Winter Emergency

For many of us, winter is marked by a gentle snowfall, roaring fires, fluffy blankets and warm clothes. Temperatures fall and roads become icy and wet, but we know that in our homes we are safe, warm and protected. However, for countless people around the world, winter is a battle for survival. 

This year, the Coronavirus pandemic has brought even more difficulties for the poor and needy. Without adequate protection and food to remain healthy, people will likely be more at risk of the virus.
