❄️🌨* HEAVY RAINFALL😢FLOODED CAMPS: EMERGENCY APPEAL* 🌨❄️
Now in the tenth year of the conflict, the Coronavirus pandemic and current heavy rainfall has made winter this year a more significant threat than ever before.
Many internally displaced families are staying in tents, struggling to find basic food, heating and clean water.
At the moment, camps are flooded and sadly one child has already passed away.
In addition to large food baskets for families HIHFAD has now launched an emergency response appeal to provide families with the most needed emergency (winter)items.
🍲 LARGE FOOD BASKETS CONSIST OF:
- 5 kg rice, 2 kg butter oil, 5 litre sunflower oil, 4 kg lentils, 5 kg bulgur, 5 kg sugar, 1.6 kg tom. paste, 2 kg flour, 1 kg pasta, 0.5 kg tea, 0.75 kg salt, 1 kg vermicelli, 0.5 tahini sweets (Total of 33 kg of food items)
1 food basket = £30
We are aiming to help 200 families, which sets the target on 200x £30 = £6000
❗️*ADDITIONALLY, winter items such as tents, mattresses, heaters, household items etc. are needed due to current extreme rainfall.
